New Website.

James Ellis, who I do regular work for launched their new website yesterday. It's now been narrowed down so you can find designs by each artist. Please go over to the website to have a look.

Spring has sprung....

I've been meaning to post this pic for a while, this is one of my Mother's day designs that I have done for James Ellis. You can't beat a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Thought I'd also post this pic from a personal project that I'm doing, taking a photo a day. I love this time of year when the flowers are in bloom and especially blossom trees. Although from the glorious weather we had last week this morning has been a stark contrast because it has been trying to snow!!

Hmmm cake

I've been using a lot of collage in my work recently. These are two ideas from my sketch book and what better subject matter to use than cake!

I know it's a little late but just wanted to wish every one a Happy New Year. Hope 2012 is going to be a good one!

Christmas Cards

I love designing Christmas cards. Below are some I've previously had published by James Ellis. The faint snowflakes on the reindeer and snowman one are glittered, these were printed as mini cards.

It's being to look a lot like Christmas

I can't believe it's the 1st of December today, this year seems to have flown by. Here's a Father Christmas as we start the count down to the big day...yay!

Character development

Here is a birthday girl character idea I've been playing around with in my sketch book. Just messing with a different painting technique to the normal one I use. Below a girl using the same stencil technique listening to some music.
